Fans were stunned to learn that Black-ish actor Anthony Anderson was rushed to the ER over the weekend following extreme knee swelling.

In an Instagram post, Anderson revealed that doctors diagnosed him with arthritis and “King’s Disease,” draining 140cc of fluid from his knee.

He thanked the medical team at UCLA Santa Monica, his son, and a close friend for their support during the ordeal.

Anderson also shared a video of the procedure, prompting an outpouring of prayers and well-wishes from fans across social media.

While it’s unclear if this health scare will impact his work schedule, Anderson recently wrapped filming on Public Defenders.

Supporters are hoping for a swift recovery and his return to the screen soon.
