Hollywood’s most extravagant estate, The Manor, has a new chapter.
Built in 1988 by legendary TV producer Aaron Spelling, creator of hits like Beverly Hills, 90210, Dynasty, and Charmed, the 56,500-square-foot French chateau-style mansion in Holmby Hills became a symbol of television royalty.
Aaron and his wife, Candy Spelling, author and philanthropist, raised their two children there—Tori Spelling (age 52), a pop culture icon, and Randy Spelling (age 47), now a life coach and producer.
The estate featured 14 bedrooms, 27 bathrooms, a bowling alley, wine cellar, and beauty salon. So grand, even Tori admitted she never explored every room.
On August 1, 2025, The Manor sold for $110 million to Eric Schmidt, former Google CEO (net worth: $33 billion), who intends to use the property for nonprofit gatherings.
Originally listed at $165 million, the price reflects a cooling luxury market.
Though Aaron Spelling passed away in 2006, Candy Spelling (age 79) remains a powerful figure in philanthropy and luxury real estate.
Her estimated net worth is $600 million, while Tori’s stands near $1.5 million, and Randy’s at $3 million.
This transfer from screen legends to Silicon Valley elite marks more than a sale—it’s the evolving tale of legacy, wealth, and cultural icons reshaping Los Angeles.
